March 14, 2024: Wasim Akram, a famous cricket player, talked about the bad shape of cricket places in Pakistan. He said the roofs are falling apart, especially at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. When someone asked why there are no new stadiums like the ones in India or New Zealand, Akram said they can’t even take care of the ones they have. He thinks they should build a new one in a place called Abbottabad because it’s really pretty there.
Also, Akram told a story about David Miller, a cricket player from South Africa. Miller put off his wedding to play in the Bangladesh cricket league and helped his team win for the first time. They say he got paid a lot of money to play those games. After winning, he got married in a big celebration.
