Agartala December 07, 2023: Tripura Pradesh Congress is in contact with the office of senior Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Rahul Gandhi’s office. The dates have not been finalized yet but there’s no doubt regarding their visit to Tripura, said Tripura Pradesh Congress president Ashish Kumar Saha.
The statement came after a wave of rumors surfaced in the political atmosphere raising confusion over the tour of the senior Congress leaders to Tripura.
Answering the questions of the reporters at the Pradesh Congress Bhavan, Asish Kumar Saha said, “Across the entire state, Pradesh Congress leaders, members and activists are working at the Booth level to build a strong organization of the party ahead of the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections”.
“And to inspect the ongoing works, meetings are held on a regular basis. Also, future plans are chalked out”.
Answering the reporter’s question regarding Priyanka and Rahul Gandhi’s visit, the TPCC president ruled out all the confusion.
He said, “Its just that the elections in four states got over and the dates of arrival have not been fixed yet. But there is no confusion regarding their visit to Tripura”.
“There is a well-built organization of the party in the state, then where does any doubt arise regarding the visit of senior party leaders”? said Saha.
Asish further informed that every other day senior state leaders of Congress are visiting various places across the state and interacting with the party functionaries and common people.
