School Relies on Sound Box Due to Teacher Shortage!

Udaipur, Tripura February 20, 2024: The Ulubari JB School in Kanchigang village, under the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC), is facing a severe teacher shortage. This has led to an unconventional solution: playing pre-recorded lessons on a sound box for students.

Despite repeated requests from parents and guardians, the administration has not addressed the lack of teachers. With no educators present, the school has resorted to playing recorded lessons outside classrooms for students. However, reports indicate that many students are disengaged and pay little attention to the sound box lectures.

Locals allege that this practice of using sound boxes for teaching has been ongoing for several months, raising concerns about the quality of education being provided to the students. The absence of qualified teachers can hinder their learning and development.
