NSS Unit Celebrates Armed Forces Flag Day.

Gandacherra, December 7, 2023: The NSS unit of Gandacherra Sr. Secondary School celebrated Armed Forces Flag Day on Thursday, in line with the rest of the state. The program was led by the school’s NSS program officer, Bhaskar Ghosh. On the occasion, volunteers of the NSS unit collected money for the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund from various government offices, banks, and shops in the Gandacherra market area. In addition, students and teachers of the school also contributed generously to the fund. In his address to the students, Ghosh said that the Armed Forces Flag Day is a day to pay tribute to the brave men and women of the Indian Armed Forces who have sacrificed their lives in the service of the nation. He urged the students to be patriotic and to always be ready to serve the country.
