Narcotics fueling thefts, claims victim!

Charilam, November 26: A grocery store owner in the Dhilchara area of Bishalgarh was robbed in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The victim, identified as Shapan Saha, said that he woke up to find his house in complete mess. He later discovered that his mobile phone and cash had been stolen. The thieves broke into the house through a window.

Saha also alleged that drug trafficking in the area is the reason behind such thefts. He added that drug dealers operate openly, from morning till night, with no police presence.
