MP Owaisi Questions Government’s Intent on Ram Temple Resolution

New Delhi, February 11, 2024: In a heated debate about the Ram Temple opening in Ayodhya, AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi strongly criticized the ruling BJP government. He said he respects Lord Ram but hates Nathuram Godse, Gandhi’s assassin.

Owaisi questioned the government’s motives, asking if it represents everyone or just a specific religion. He demanded clarification on whether the Ram Temple resolution celebrates one religion over another.

He also rejected being linked to Muslim emperors like Babar and Aurangzeb, saying he speaks for the present, not the past.

Meanwhile, BJP leader JP Nadda called the Ram Temple opening a “rebirth” of India’s cultural spirit. He claimed the past 500 years were marked by oppression, but this day signifies a new era.
