Minor girl out to attend wedding gangraped inside car in Ghaziabad; 2 arrested

The girl was made to get inside a car by two men and was raped. Both the accused have been arrested. The accused got her into the car on the pretext of dropping her home

Gaziabad, December 14: A ten-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped inside a car in Ghaziabad’s Loni area. The minor had come out of the house to attend a wedding procession. However, she lost her way. She was made to get inside a car by two men and was raped. Both the accused have been arrested. The arrests were made based on a complaint filed by the girl’s mother. One of the accused was shot in both legs as police tried to catch hold of him.

A case has been registered by the police based on the complaint filed by the girl’s mother. Two people — 58-year-old man Zakir and 32-year-old Nizam were arrested by the police in the case.The car used in the incident has also been recovered, said Suryabali Maurya, ACP Loni.Nizam suffered bullet injuries as he tried to escape.
