Major Fire Destroys Shops in Agartala’s Battala Bazar!

Agartala, November 27, 2023: A major fire broke out at Battala Bazar in Agartala, India, on Monday night. The fire started around 2:00 a.m. and quickly spread, destroying approximately 15 to 29 grocery stores and a vegetable market. The fire also damaged a nearby hotel.

Six fire engines were dispatched to the scene, but they were unable to contain the fire until about 5:00 a.m. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

The fire has resulted in a significant loss for the shopkeepers in the market, with many of them losing their entire stock of goods. Additionally, the fire has caused a major disruption to the supply of vegetables in Agartala.

Authorities have promised to provide assistance to the affected shopkeepers.
