Agartala, June 30: In an official release on June 30th, the Tripura Health and Family Welfare Department announced that ILS Hospital will now be providing cashless treatment to beneficiaries of the Chief Minister Jan Arogya Yojana (CMJAY-2023).
The official release, signed by Under Secretary Dipa Debbarma, assured that the services offered will mirror those available under the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) scheme.
Benefits for CMJAY beneficiaries
This means beneficiaries can now avail in-patient medical services at ILS Hospital using the same Transaction Management System (TMS) and Beneficiary Identification System (BIS) as those employed for AB-PMJAY.
The press release also mentioned that ILS Hospital’s empanelment with the scheme may be revoked if they fail to provide cashless treatment or violate any terms and conditions applicable to CMJAY-2023 under the AB-PMJAY guidelines.
Positive development for Tripura’s healthcare landscape
The inclusion of ILS Hospital in the CMJAY scheme is a welcome development for Tripura’s healthcare sector. This will give residents greater access to quality medical care at a reduced cost, particularly for those covered under the CMJAY scheme.
About CMJAY
