Agartala, March 01, 2024: A young researcher of Tripura currently based in Gandhinagar, Dr. Shatadru Chakraborty on Wednesday, backed recognition from the Indian National Young Academy of Science (INYAS) under Indian National Science Academy (INSA) upon the 12 highly accomplished PhD researchers in the field of science and technology.
His pioneering work in the field of Engineering Sciences has secured him the top position. His contributions span across Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Engineering Sciences, Chemical Sciences, and Biological Sciences. These four domains collectively recognize a total of 12 individual researchers, with Dr. Shatadru leading the way. Chakraborty also emerged as the best in the country in the Innovative and Merit competition – Science Slam 2022 – among the researchers of the science and technology arena of European and non-European countries.
Previously, in 2021, he was invited to deliver a speech on his research at the International Conference of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers in Arizona. Unfortunately, due to the Covid pandemic situation, he was unable to attend. Additionally, the Indian National Young Academy of Science has selected him as the 14th best young science writer among the top 20 talented youth this year.
Shatadru is the only child of Tripura-based writer cum journalist Pulak Chakraborty and cultural personality as well as College teacher Alkananda Chowdhury.
