Ending Era of Kalyug, Son Killed His Own Mother!

Dharmanagar, November 06: In a shocking incident, a 30-year-old man killed his 65-year-old mother with a sharp object and kept the body inside their own residence at Radhapur Village of Dharmanagar. The deceased, Shanti Debnath’s husband, Gitendra Nath Debnath and their daughter, Soma Debnath were reportedly staying at Agartala during the incident.

The incident came to light on Monday when an electricity bill meter reader came to the house of Shanti Debnath and observed a foul smell in the area. He along with other neighbours immediately informed the Dharmanagar police. Police rushed to the spot and found the lifeless body of the 65-year-old, Shanti Debnath lying on the ground along with her son Raju Debnath inside the house. During a primary investigation by the police, Raju Debnath confessed that he himself killed his mother by striking her with a sharp object. He even tried to bury the body in the lawn but due to some unavoidable circumstances, he then left the body inside the house and kept living in the same house. Police arrested Raju Debnath and Shanti Debnath’s body was sent for post-mortem.
