Don’t Pressurize Voters, Fold Hands & Ask Politely for Votes: Biplab Kumar Deb Urges BJP Workers

Belonia, March 18: Former Chief Minister and BJP’s candidate from the West Tripura seat for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Biplab Kumar Deb, addressed an organizational meeting of the party under the initiative of Belonia Mandal on Monday.

In his address, Deb not only highlighted the developmental strides Tripura has witnessed under the BJP regime but also emphasized the importance of respectful engagement with voters. He urged party workers (karyakartas) to visit every household in their areas, regardless of political affiliation, and politely seek support.

“Even when approaching families who support the opposition, our duty is to inform them about the progress and development achieved under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. We should courteously request votes in favor of the BJP’s nominated candidate without exerting pressure,” said Deb. Fold your harnds and ask them for vote politely, he added.

The former chief minister further expressed the party’s goal: “We aim to secure a majority of votes in both Lok Sabha seats from Tripura, thereby strengthening Narendra Modiji’s position as Prime Minister for another term.”

Deb’s optimism extended to the national level:

“With more than 400 seats, the BJP will emerge victorious once again.”Meanwhile, in Rajnagar area, an organizational meeting witnessed 524 voters from 122 families joining the BJP on Monday.

The event was attended by BJP South District President Shankar Roy, Mandal President Goutam Sarkar, Zilla Parishad Vice-President Bibhishan Das, and other party officials.
