Dead Body of middle- aged man recovered

Belonia Dec 09: Recovery of a dead body lying in the area adjacent to Ratanpur Hospital under Belonia Police Station on Saturday morning caused panic among the locals.

Receiving information, firefighters of Belonia Police Station hurried to the spot. The dead body identified to be of one Amrit Tripura (37), resident of Gobindabari area in Ratanpur was rescued and transported to Belonia Hospital.

The family members of the deceased said, “He went out Friday evening to sell rubber on his cycle to Ratanpur market and did not return back”.

“He often consumes alcohol but we are unaware if he has any enemy”, feared the family members.

Police of Belonia police station said, “We have taken up a case of unnatural death but the reason of death will be clear after the autopsy report comes in”.
