Agartala, December 06, 2023: After facing poll debacle in the recently held assembly elections in the four states of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Mizoram, the opposition Congress party in Tripura accused the ruling BJP of discovering attacks on the oppositions soon after the declaration of the elections results for the five states.
“The BJP goons instigated sporadic incidents of attack in various parts of the state,” alleged PCC president Ashish Kumar Saha on Wednesday. He alleged that after the declaration of election results for four states on December 3 last, the goons of ruling BJP discovered an attack on a travel agency of one Congress party worker here at Agartala.
He alleged, “The CCTV footage had visualized the goons attacking the customers inside the shop and destroying various accessories including computer machines and others. Despite that, the police were unable to take any necessary action yet.”
“This has now become a trend for the ruling BJP to target the oppositions after every election result, where attacks are being made on opposition leaders and workers,” he alleged further.
