Businessman’s House Robbed on Diwali night!

Agartala, November 13: A businessman’s house was robbed in the early hours of Monday at the Thakurpara area of Uttam Bhakt Chowmuhani, Amtali. The owner of Debnath Nursery, Dulal Debnath, claimed that, when he was gone to a Kali Puja celebration with his family on Sunday night, a thief broke out in his house and stole Rs. 1,20,000 in cash and gold ornaments worth approximately Rs. 2,00,000. The incident was immediately reported to the Amtali Police Station and immediately investigation was started. Debnath said that the thief’s face is clearly visible in the CCTV footage, but he does not recognize him.
