Buddhist Devotees Offered Prayers On ‘Kathina Chibara Daana.’

Gandacherra, November 27, 2023: The Kathin Chibar Dan festival was celebrated for the first time at the Girimananda Meditation Center in Gandacherra on Monday.

The event drew a large number of Buddhist monks and devotees from various places. Devotees generously donated new robes to the monks, showing their support for the meditation center.

Ven. Girimananda Mahathero, the founder of the meditation center, emphasized the benefits of meditation in helping people focus their minds and engage in positive actions. He urged everyone to visit the meditation center and participate in meditation sessions.

Furthermore, Ven. Girimananda Mahathero highlighted that the meditation center is open to people of all religions and backgrounds.
