In a recent live session on Weverse, BTS member Jungkook, alongside RM, Jimin, and V, addressed fans and discussed various topics, including his upcoming military service. The specific enlistment dates for the quartet have not been officially disclosed, adding an air of anticipation among the devoted BTS ARMY.
During the live session, Jungkook candidly spoke about the persistent issue of sasaengs—obsessive fans who infringe on celebrities’ privacy. Walking and interacting with fans, he conveyed frustration, saying, “Even nowadays, there are sasaengs in front of my house. That’s enough, coming you b******s. Don’t cross the line, you creep.” He also expressed fatigue and noted a decline in stamina, attributing it to his current fitness routine.
Responding to ARMY’s curiosity about his shaved head, Jungkook teased fans by refusing to reveal it immediately. He stated, “What’s the point of showing now, there’s a few days left… don’t you think?” Eventually, he gave a brief peek at his buzz-cut, responding playfully to a fan who complimented his appearance without hair.
Addressing his impending military service, Jungkook assured fans, “1.5 years is pretty short. If you guys just keep doing as you’re doing right now, it’ll be fine. We have prepared a lot of things for you.” He hinted at a surprise project he was working on and playfully admitted to unintentionally providing a significant spoiler.
Despite expressing a desire to enjoy a few drinks before his enlistment, Jungkook revealed his fridge was already stocked. He humorously rearranged it during the live session, sharing the amusing situation with fans. When asked if it was his “last live” before military service, he cryptically replied, “Nope. Maybe not?”
Jungkook also expressed a heartfelt wish to spend time with his pet dog Bam before departing for military service. He shared, “I wanna go see Bam once before I go, like ‘Bam, dad is gonna go and come back from the military!’ Maybe later on my TikTok, it might be full of Bam. I might not have an Instagram account but there might be one for Bam.”
Regarding BTS as a whole, the announcement from BigHit Music stated that the enlistments are “upcoming,” leaving fans eager for official starting dates. South Korean media reports suggest that RM and V will begin on December 11, with Jimin and Jungkook following on December 12. Meanwhile, other BTS members—Jin, J-Hope, and Suga—have already commenced their military duties, each contributing in various capacities to fulfill their service requirements.
