Madhupur, Jan 09: Three tribal youths who had been detained by the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) were safely brought back to India late Wednesday night, thanks to the swift action of Madhupur police and the Border Security Force (BSF). The youths, hailing from the Debipur Rajartilla area, had crossed into Bangladesh for work with prior permission from the BSF. However, they were arrested by the BGB while working in the border region.

After their arrest, the BGB took the youths to the Chandidar Border Outpost (BOP), later transferring them to the Kasba Police Station and then to Brahmanbaria Police Station. Despite thorough searches, no incriminating evidence was found. After several hours of detention, the BGB handed the youths over to the BSF at Kamalsagar Mia Para around midnight.
The news of their detention quickly spread, causing widespread concern in the local community. Their families were distraught, awaiting their safe return. Thanks to the immediate efforts of Madhupur Police and BSF, the youths were safely returned to their families early Thursday morning.
