Celebrating Languages, Uniting Cultures: Agartala Holds International Mother Language Day Rally

Tripura, February 21, 2024: To mark International Mother Language Day today, a rally was organized in Agartala. The rally commenced on Wednesday morning from the Town Hall and proceeded to circle the city before concluding back at the starting point.

This initiative was jointly organized by the Department of School Education and the Bangladesh High Commission. The event witnessed the participation of the Bangladesh High Commissioner and officials from the state’s School Education Department.

The rally served as a platform to raise awareness about the importance of preserving and celebrating one’s mother language. It also fostered cultural exchange and collaboration between Tripura and Bangladesh.

It signifies the commitment of both the educational institutions and the diplomatic representatives to promoting linguistic diversity and cultural understanding.
