Agartala, January 13, 2024: In preparation for the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha polls, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) conducted a media workshop with representatives from all eight districts of the state. The objective was to enhance the party’s social media strategy and strengthen its public outreach campaign.
The workshop was presided over by National Spokesperson BJP, Dr. Alok Anand, and attended by key party figures, including Tripura Pradesh BJP President Rajib Bhattacharjee, State BJP Spokesperson Subrata Chakraborty, and State BJP Media In-charge Sunit Sarkar.
Addressing reporters at the BJP State headquarters in Krishnanagar, Dr. Alok Anand emphasized the significance of public outreach programs, especially with the looming Lok Sabha elections. He highlighted the crucial role of the media in shaping narratives, influencing public opinion, and providing a platform for discussion.
Dr. Alok Anand stated, “It is the only way to reach out to the masses and make them aware of the government projects, work done for welfare, and also appeal to them for electing the government for another term.” He underscored the importance of engaging with the public through various media channels to communicate government initiatives and future programs.
As the BJP aspires to see Narendra Modi re-elected as Prime Minister, Dr. Alok Anand emphasized the significance of states where the BJP holds power, including Tripura in the Northeast. Strengthening all sections of the party, known as “Morchas,” was identified as a key objective during the workshop.
Dr. Alok Anand concluded by stressing that all Morchas should establish connections with different sections of society and effectively share information about the government’s plans and future programs through the media. The workshop aimed to equip party representatives with the skills and strategies needed for an impactful and successful media campaign in the run-up to the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
