Parliament intruder Sagar Sharma’s relative alleged that he was dragged into the Parliament security breach conspiracy by someone in a significant position.
Delhi, December 14: The Parliament intruder Sagar Sharma’s relative on Thursday alleged that he was dragged into the Lok Sabha security breach conspiracy by someone who holds a big position.Sagar’s uncle Pradeep said, “He has been pulled into it as part of a conspiracy by someone who holds a big position,” adding that he has no previous history of any such acts.
In a major security breach on the anniversary of the 2001 Parliament terror attack on Wednesday, Sagar Sharma and another person Manoranjan D, jumped into the Lok Sabha chamber from the public gallery during Zero Hour, released yellow gas from canisters and shouted slogans before being overpowered by some MPs.The Delhi Police has registered a case under the stringent anti-terror law Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act against intruders and two others protested outside Parliament.
Amol Shinde and Neelam Devi sprayed coloured gas from canisters while shouting “tanashahi nahi chalegi (dictatorship will not work)” outside Parliament premises. According to police, these four were part of a group of six people who planned the incident.Sagar, Manoranjan, Amol and Neelam are now in police custody. Their accomplice Vishal, in whose house the accused stayed before reaching Parliament, has been detained from Gurugram. A search is on for their other accomplice Lalit.
