Road mishap at Old-Motor-Stand: One hurt, two-wheeler damaged

Agartala, Dec 9, 2023: In a road accident, a scooty rider managed to escape with minor injuries after colliding with a lorry, but his two-wheeler was destroyed in the incident.

The incident took place in the Old Motor-stand area of the capital city on Saturday morning. The injured person is a resident of Kalibazar in Bamutia area of Agartala.

According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred when the scooty rider mistakenly moved in the wrong direction at the Moto-stand area. The lorry, which was traveling from Kaman-Chowmuhani area towards the Motorstand area, collided with and dragged the scooty.

Local residents promptly rescued the injured person who was trapped under the lorry and took him to GBP Hospital. It was learned that the scooty was completely damaged following the incident.
