11 Minor Girls Rescued by Local Administration!

Belonia, November 07: In a rescue operation, 11 minor girls have been rescued from different parts of the Rajnagar area of Belonia within a time span of one week from November 1 to November 7.

According to the local administration, all the minors between the ages of 14 and 15 have been rescued by the authority from Ghosh Khamar Mundapara, Gabtali Shadhu para, Gabtali Shupari Khola, Akinpur BSF para, Kamal Palarea, Barpathari Hetalia, Batisha Colony, Niharnagar, Chotta Khola and Rajnagar Muslim para area.

The Sub-Divisional Administrative Authority said that all the rescued minors had either been subjected to family confinement or were being forcibly married at a very young age, where their voices and opinions were entirely disregarded.

Administrative officials added that these young girlswill be given a new opportunity in life, free from the injustices that had confined them, offering them a chance for a brighter future.
